RUTA CAMINO DE SANTIAGO
Jávea joins the route network of the Camino de Santiago with the Camino del Alba. It is an itinerary that has as its official starting point the Port and that will link with the historic "Camino de la Lana" in Almansa. Doing the Camino de Santiago, either for tourism, sports, religious reasons, or personal improvement, is something that in recent years has taken a lot of force, reaching beyond the regional and national limits. The Camino del Alba was inaugurated on Sunday, May 30, 2010, in the Port of Jávea, with a pilgrim mass and a march in which hikers, cyclists and horse riders participated.
The commercial area of Jávea is divided between the three population centers: Jávea Histórica, Duanas de la Mar-Puerto and Arenal.
In the center of Jávea there is a wide variety of shops. Shops with a long family tradition along the C / Mayor and around the City Hall, as well as boutiques, shoe stores and designer shops on Av. Príncipe de Asturias. Several Shopping Nights with important discounts and complementary activities are carried out throughout the year. This nucleus is home to the Mercado Municipal de Abastos where you can buy quality gastronomic products typical of Xàbia. Besides concentrating a large number of tapas bars and taverns, it is the administrative and financial center of the city.

Duanes de la Mar also has a wide range of shops concentrated on Jaime I Avenue, Cristo del Mar Street and around the Church.
